About Tamar/ Owner-Operator

Tamar is a licensed massage therapist with over ten years experience in the field. Her extensive training includes a wide array of therapeutic techniques including deep tissue and myofascial massage. She is passionate about helping clients to soothe and alleviate chronic symptoms such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, and tension due to repetitive stress.

Prior to graduating from Spa Tech Institute's Holistic and Therapeutic Program, Tamar received her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Portland State University in Oregon. She has owned and operated Inner Truth Massage since 2008. Tamar enjoys nature, yoga, cooking healthy meals, and hanging with her musician husband, RC Thomas and their son.       

About Devon

Devon is a Seacoast native and is the prior owner of Elemental Energy in Portsmouth, NH, voted Best of the Seacoast 3 years in a row. She is a licensed massage therapist and Usui Tibetan Reiki Master since 2006. Devon is also a Melchizedek Method Practitioner, a doTerra Wellness Advocate, as well as a 200 HR YTT Yoga Practitioner. Devon's specialties include relaxing, slow myofascial massage, aromatherapy, and energy healing.

In her free time, Devon enjoys collecting crystals, and attending live music concerts. She also loves gardening and spending time with her rescue dog, Olive Moon, as well as her two rescue cats, Cat Stevens and Joy.

About Joe

Joe has been helping people with chronic and acute pain for over ten years. He provides an individualized therapeutic session, addressing myoskeletal discomfort, to help the body achieve a better state of balance. Joe specializes in lower back, upper back, and hip work and can apply medium, firm or deep pressure depending on each client's needs. His combination of soothing strokes incorporated with deep tissue techniques leave you feeling renewed.

Joe completed his schooling at Spa Tech Institute in Westbrook, ME and is a licensed massage therapist. He has over five thousand hours of hands-on client time and has gained a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and know-how to assist clients in reaching their highest potential.

About Melissa

Melissa is a licensed massage therapist since 2008, and is also a graduate from Spa Tech Institute in Westbrook ME, with a focus on  holistic massage. She specializes in several modalities, including deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial work, cupping therapy, sports massage, and Thai bodywork. Melissa uses a firm pressure and incorporates stretching and range of motion in her sessions. She provides an amazing therapy that combines deep relaxation techniques with anatomy-based bodywork, delivered with intention.

Melissa's goal is to help clients feel their best by providing a custom treatment plan after a thorough intake and assessment. In her free time, she loves baking, exercising, theater, spending time with friends and family, as well as enjoying her 3 dogs.

About Kelly

Kelly is a licensed massage therapist with over ten years experience working in chiropractic and physical therapy settings. She graduated from the New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts (NHITA) Bridgeton, Maine campus. There, Kelly completed an extensive course outline including: Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point, sports and orthopedic massage,  reflexology, and lymphatic drainage.  She has expertise in both the  medical massage field as well as the spa environment, having helped  clients on their healing journeys from acute and chronic injuries and  pain patterns.

About Aimee

Aimee is a graduate from the Holistic and Therapeutic Program at Spa Tech Institute in 2003. She utilizes her 15 years of experience to assist in the body's ability to heal itself through massage. By listening to the client and body with thoughtful communication, she works slowly with intent, working to alleviate any tension or pain. Her style combines a mixture of Swedish and deep tissue techniques to provide a relaxing, yet effective massage. Aimee’s forte is implementing focused work around the head, neck, upper back and hips to help ease these common areas of tension.

Aimee is Seacoast local, a mom of 3 kids and a hobby farmer. She enjoys the outdoors, tending to her farm and animals at home, and accomplishing many DIY projects with her husband.

About Sarah

Sarah received her massage therapy degree from Great Bay Community College on the Seacoast of NH. In her 6 + years in the industry, she has found that she really enjoys working with clients who want to achieve deep, therapeutic work during their massage treatments. Relaxation is nice, but it is not what Sarah is all about. She gets great results with a strong, focused massage, addressing specific areas and targeting problematic muscle groups. Sarah is certified in cupping therapy, hot stone massage, prenatal massage and more. She specializes in neck and shoulder work with extra attention to chronic pain from repetitive stress. 

Sarah loves to help others through the art of massage therapy.  When she's not working, Sarah enjoys spending time with her 3 kids and having a "pamper day" on the off chance she has an afternoon to herself.

About Kristen

Kristen is a Licensed Massage Therapist in New Hampshire and Maine and a graduate of Great Bay's Massage Therapy & Bodywork Program in Portsmouth. Her prior work with the elderly and with those with developmental and physical dependencies as well as her health science studies helped form a passion for health and wellness that incorporates mind, body, and soul.  Kristen creates a supportive environment in session for all types of clients needing a safe space, utilizing a range of modalities including Swedish techniques, Myofascial Release and Usui Reiki. Kristen's sessions are always designed for each individual to release old holding patterns, reset the nervous system, establish a mind-body connection, and bring that knowledge beyond the session and into the everyday.

When Kristen is not in session, she can be found hanging with her favorite feline, Colbie, painting and dancing, enjoying the outdoors or local Seacoast music venues and artists, and spending time with the very loving and adorable Greyhounds at a local kennel for retired racing dogs.
